Publishers Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization that supports the Journalism and Communication Magnet at duPont Manual High School.  Publishers assists with obtaining the tools necessary to provide excellent instruction in all facets of journalism and communication through fundraising, acceptance of gifts, grants donations, and membership fees.

Publishers also uses some of its funding to provide scholarships to outstanding J&C students who have at least one parent or guardian who has been a member of Publishers throughout the student’s time at Manual and whose child intends to pursue a postsecondary training in journalism and communication.

The president of Publishers has a liaison position on the duPont Manual High School PTSA.
