J&C Scholarship Applications

duPont Manual High School’s Journalism and Communication Program offers an outstanding education for students, enabling them to attend some of the best Universities in the country. In order to help students afford these schools, below you will find a list of scholarships related to journalism and similar fields of study. Publishers Scholarships for Manual J&C Students Only
Each Spring the Publisher Board of Directors determines how much they can set aside for student scholarships. The amounts have ranged from $500 to $1,000 dollars, which were awarded directly to students for the costs associated with attending college.

Eligibility
-
Applicant must be graduating from duPont Manual High School’s J&C magnet in Spring 2024.

The applicant must be planning to work toward a post-secondary degree in journalism, communication, creative writing, digital design or a related field.

One member of the applicant’s household must have been a member of Publishers each year the applicant attended duPont Manual High School.

The student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
